I can't believe it! Christmas and New Years have come and gone and Valentines Day is right around the corner! 

1...2...3...4..5..6..7...

T-8 days to be exact!

Panic mode has not set in for most of you I'm sure, but for me I'm freaking out! I have a tendency to come up with BIG ideas just before the big day! And because of that, it's too late to do it and I end up the looser that didn't do anything since he normally get's me flowers:


Well last year I came up with my big idea two days before V-Day. And let me tell you, it was no easy simple activity. I needed to create a movie for my h-man before he got home on V-Day so that he could "stumble" upon it when he got home.

Lets just say.. I failed. I had it open and was still editing it when he came home. "That's not so bad!" you might say, but NAY! The worst part is he ended up helping me edit it! Doh'! (That's what you get for having a cinematography major for a husband...) 


Well, NOT THIS YEAR! I say! This year I will be successful! And will MAKE HIS MIND EXPLODE!

I made this amazingly cute basket that contains everything we need to make our Valentines Day special.

This basket has:

A bottle of Martinelli's
Two plastic Champagne glasses
Two candles for ambiance

Matches for the candles
A chalkboard quote picture mounted to hard canvas

A banner for added decoration
Hershey's kisses
Two single serve mason jar pies

I made one already because I was SO excited!! Look at how cute this is!
